Steps to make Carrot Burfi 🥕:
- Wash, peel off and grate carrots.
- Now boil milk along with cardamom powder and add grated carrots and cook for 4 to 5 mins. Then cover the lid and cook for 15 to 20 mins on low flame, after 15 mins cook on medium low flame and cook until milk dries up. keep stirring in between..
- Now add sugar and mix well..
- Now add desicated coconut and nuts and mix well..
- Now add khoya and Ghee... mix it again and cook until it starts leaving the pot..
- Now in a separate pan take 1 tbsp Ghee, add Khoya to it and mix..Now add sugar in it and mix it again. When sugar dissolves in it turn off the stove and let it cool..
- Now grease any square or rectangle dish and place parchment paper to it..
- Now spread carrot mixture and press it evenly. Now top it with Prepared Khoya and press it evenly again..
- Now sprinkle dedicated coconut & nuts on the top and keep it into the refrigerator for about 30 mins. Now cut it into your desired shapes and Ready to serve..
