  1. Soak idli rava in warm water..
  2. In another bowl wash and soak urad dal for 6-7 hours..
  3. After 6-7 hours drain the water from both and add in mixer jar.Blend into a smooth batter..
  4. Now cover and rest in warm place for 6-7 hours for fermentation..
  5. Then wash and blanch the spinach leaves for 5 mins. And put it in cold water..
  6. Then in a mixer jar add blanched spinach leaves, green chillies, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves and grind into a smooth paste..
  7. Now add salt, Jeera and spinach paste in the idli batter and mix well..
  8. Then add soda and mix slowly..
  9. Now add the batter into idli moulds and place the idli plates into steamer and steam for 10-15 mins..
  10. Serve with coconut chutney..
