  1. In a bowl add refined flour, salt, baking powder, ghee and semolina and mix well. Add sufficient water and knead into a stiff dough. Cover the bowl with cloth and rest the dough for 20 minutes..
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add coriander seeds, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, fennel powder, garam masala powder and salt and mix well and sauté for 2 minutes add little water to avoid over cooking, Add soaked moong daal, half cup water, dry mango powder and chat masala mix well and cook till moong daal is fully cooked mash lightly..
  3. Roll the dough into medium circle and add 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Fold well and roll again ensuring the filling does not come out..
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium flame. Fry the prepared kachori until golden brown on both sides and puffed up. Remove and drain excess oil..
  5. Serve hot with tamarind chutney..
