  1. Use 360 Grams of Fish Fillet (I use Toothfish).
  2. Take 1 of Medium Onion, chopped.
  3. Use 3 Stalks of Celery Stick.
  4. Provide 1 Litre of Chicken Stock/Broth.
  5. You need 2 Tbsp of Soy Sauce.
  6. Use 2 Tsp of Dry Sherry / Shaoxing Wine.
  7. Prepare 3 Tbsp of Vegetable Oil.
  8. You need of Salt, Pepper, Sugar for seasoning.

Steps to make Oriental Fish Soup:

  1. Clean and fillet the fish, then marinate with Soy Sauce, Shaoxing Wine, and 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil, set aside in room temperature for 1 hour.
  2. In the meantime, chop the onion, and celery stalks.
  3. Saute the onion together with celery stalks, and close the lid for about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour over the chicken broth into the pot, and the fish together with the marinate sauce.
  5. Let it cook for about 10 minutes, then seasoned with salt, pepper, sugar. Taste and dish-up! Yum!!.
