  2. Heat ghee in a pan, add jeera seeds, bay leaf, dry red chilli.When jeera splutters,add green chilli, grated ginger,chopped tomatoes..
  3. Now add the potato,coconut pieces & fry for a mints.Then add the drained rice, dal & mix well.Add salt,turmeric powder..
  4. Pour 4 cups water or as required.Pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles..
  5. Once the pressure subsides by itself drizzle little ghee on top..
  6. Garnish it with coriander leaves & coconut pieces.Serve hot with papad, pineapple chutney or any other of your choice..
